Mariam's Marinade and Lemon Butter Sauce Instructions

Both Lemon Butter and Prawn Marinade use the same method.


• Method for preparation (1 pack of 16-20 or other size) prawns

• Place thawed Captain Haddock Butterflied, Cut & Deveined Prawns into marinade

• Allow to marinate for at least 1 hour.


Grilling:


To prepare, place prawns butterflied side down onto an oven proof dish.
• Dot with butter and place under the grill for 3-5 minutes.
• Turn prawns over and grill for a further 3-5 minutes until done.



Stove top:


• To prepare, place prawns butterflied side down into a large flat pot.
• Dot with butter (optional) and close pot with a lid.
  Cook on high for 5 to 6 minutes.
• Turn prawns over and cook for a further 3-5 minutes until done.

Serve with Mariam’s Lemon Butter Sauce for an extra indulgence.

Lemon Butter Sauce can also be used on its own by simply emptying contents into a pot and simmer until heated through.

Additionally it can be used as a marinade for creamy lemon butter prawns.
